Preserve identity through editing.
The profile proposes meaningful identifiers and data attributes for lines, stops, interchanges, labels and layers. The intention is to retain the connection between a drawing and its transport objects when the drawing is edited or presented interactively.
A future generator and runtime could share that convention. Their output still needs conformance tests; an SVG containing these attributes is not automatically a validated OTI map.
A stop, with context.
The draft uses data attributes to retain meaning even if a design application changes an element’s ID. Its proposed root also includes a title, description and publication metadata.
<g id="stop-central" data-stop-ids="central"

Keyboard focus, named actions and a navigable text description belong alongside the visual map. Highlighting should preserve context and distinguish selection with more than colour.
The profile and its reference runtime are being developed. The Bilbao explorer uses package-generated SVG with station and line identifiers. It does not claim conformance to every proposed feature of this draft.
